Five Inducted into Oklahoma Horse Racing Hall of Fame Friday

Five individuals and horses were honored with induction into the Oklahoma Horse Racing Hall of Fame during a special ceremony at Remington Park on December 5, 2025. The inductees included the millionaire Oklahoma-bred horse Silver Goblin, prominent owners and breeders Kris and John Richter of the Richter Family Trust, track announcer Jim Byers, and Clark Brewster. The event highlighted their significant contributions to Oklahoma horse racing.

The ceremony concluded with the induction of Senor Buscador, a horse whose career began at Remington Park and who went on to achieve multiple graded stakes victories, including winning the $20-million Grade 1 Saudi Cup in 2024. The event was held in conjunction with a live racing card, celebrating the rich history and impact of these figures on the sport in Oklahoma.
