Firefighters in Huntington Township, Ohio, responded to a unique rescue call involving a horse trapped in a frozen swimming pool. Upon arrival, they found the stressed animal unable to free itself from the ice. Due to the challenging conditions and the horse’s size, the team coordinated with various local agencies and businesses to bring in specialized equipment, including a backhoe, to safely lift the horse out of the pool.
