Firefighters in Monroe Township, Indiana, rescued a horse that had fallen through a frozen pond and was stuck shoulder-deep in the ice. The Monroe Township Fire Department responded to the incident on Henryville-Otisco Road and called the Charlestown Fire Department for additional help.
Two firefighters in ice-rescue suits broke the ice and safely pulled the horse out of the water. Despite the cold conditions, the horse was uninjured and was returned to its owners.
