Rosie, a 13-year-old horse, fell into a brook on Pickmere Lane in Tabley, prompting a rescue operation on Saturday afternoon. Firefighters from Knutsford and Lymm, along with the animal rescue team, used specialist equipment to safely secure and pull Rosie out of the water onto the embankment.

After the rescue, Rosie’s owner checked her and confirmed she was in good health and able to walk before being returned to her stable. The incident involved two fire engines from Lymm and Knutsford, as well as two Rapid Response Units from Bollington and Knutsford.
