Fatal Pedestrian Accident in West Atlantic City Claims Life of Nazma Khatun

On November 9, 2025, Nazma Khatun, a 49-year-old woman from Egg Harbor Township, tragically died after being struck by a 1997 Honda Odyssey driven by Sergio Madrid on the Black Horse Pike in West Atlantic City. The accident occurred around 6:05 p.m. as Madrid entered the center turn lane and hit Khatun, who was walking in the roadway. Despite emergency efforts, Khatun succumbed to her injuries at AtlantiCare Medical Center. The police closed the road for several hours to investigate, and the cause of the accident remains under review.
