Fairbanks City Hall recently hosted training exercises for PAWS Search and Rescue, where their dogs practiced search techniques using the building’s hallways and hidden spaces. These exercises help prepare the dogs and handlers for real-life search and rescue missions across Interior Alaska.

Following the training, the team visited the Fairbanks Emergency Communications Center to connect with dispatchers they often collaborate with during emergencies, strengthening their coordination for future rescue efforts.
