Expo Lachute Fair Celebrates Over 200 Years of Tradition with Family Fun and Agricultural Events

The Expo Lachute Fair, Québec’s oldest and Canada’s second oldest fair, celebrated over 200 years of tradition from July 10 to 13, 2025, attracting thousands to the Lachute Fairgrounds. The family-friendly event showcased local agriculture through competitions like modified and antique tractor pulls, horse shows, and featured entertainment such as demolition derbies, monster truck shows, and live music. Visitors enjoyed engaging with farmers, exploring local vendors, and trying classic Midway rides and games.

Highlights included interactive animal exhibits by The Keepers Wildlife Animals, displays of big rigs and heavy horses, and colorful quilt presentations.
