The Silver Creek Equestrian Center will host a Winter Youth rodeo on January 18th, featuring competitions for youth ages 0-18. The event will have age-based events for each group, with online registration required. Books open at noon and the rodeo begins at 2 p.m., with admission priced at $5.

The Winter Youth rodeo will have different age divisions and events for participants. Ages 0-5 will have events such as Mutton Bustin’, Goat Ribbon Pulling, and Stick Horse Barrels. Ages 6-9 will have events like Calf Riding, Barrel Race, and Flags (Little Britches style). All other ages will have events including Barrel Race, Goat Tying, and Speed Race, among others.
