Excitement Builds for the 2025 International Marbach Eventing Competition

The International Marbach Eventing, scheduled for May 15-18, 2025, will feature over 120 riders from 11 nations competing with approximately 170 horses at the Marbach State Stud in Baden-Württemberg. This event serves as a preparatory stage for the Official German Nations Cup, set to take place in 2026. Dr. Danièle Vogg will direct the sports show for the first time, alongside the new IGV Chairman Holger Sontheim.

The competition includes various categories, such as the four-star iWEST Tiernahrung Prize and the two-star OutletCity Metzingen Prize, with the event determining winners for the German Professional Equestrian Championship and other titles. Notable competitors include defending champion Michael Jung and Ingrid Klimke, both highly decorated riders in the equestrian world.

The event will feature a structured schedule with dressage on May 15-16, cross country on May 17, and show jumping on May 18. Tickets are available for various prices, with free admission for children and accompanying persons of disabled individuals. The event promises a vibrant atmosphere with exhibitions and culinary offerings, alongside live commentary from Tilly Berendt.
