Everett B. Gee, Jr., a dedicated family man, businessman, and community leader, passed away at 92 in Ocala, Florida. Born in Memphis and raised in Blytheville, Arkansas, E.B. served in the U.S. Air Force before joining and expanding his family’s agricultural business, which included cotton, grain, seed operations, and cattle breeding. He was deeply involved in public service, particularly in flood control and drainage in Southeast Missouri, earning the Outstanding Civilian Service Medal for his contributions. E.B. was also passionate about golf, achieving numerous amateur titles, serving in leadership roles within golf associations, and being inducted into the Arkansas Golf Hall of Fame.
Beyond his professional and civic achievements, E.B. was a lifelong Presbyterian active in his church communities and later became a successful real estate broker specializing in farm properties. He is survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held in Ocala, Florida, and Blytheville, Arkansas, with the family requesting donations to local Presbyterian churches and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in lieu of flowers.
