Erynn Ballard and Let’s Fly Win Silo Ridge Masters Jumper Classic

Canadian Olympian Erynn Ballard won the $32,000 Stoneleaf 3* Jumper Classic at the Silo Ridge Masters, riding the 9-year-old Dutch-bred gelding Let’s Fly. Ballard, who has been developing Let’s Fly for a year on behalf of owner Roaring Fork Farm, completed the jump-off in 38.33 seconds, besting a competitive field including Great Britain’s Jessica Mendoza and USA’s Jonathan McCrea. Let’s Fly is ultimately destined to be ridden by owner Djuna Lauder, currently studying in Scotland, with Ballard expressing excitement to continue riding the horse and support Lauder in the future.

The Silo Ridge Masters is part of the Highland Horse Show, a two-week event in New York’s Hudson Valley featuring elite show jumping and entertainment. Ballard praised the event’s atmosphere, calling it a standout boutique horse show experience. The competition continues with the $125,000 Silo Ridge Masters Grand Prix scheduled for Sunday, promising more top-level show jumping action.
