On December 14, 2025, the EquiHome equestrian center will host a special Gymkhana Working Horse event organized by Fitetrec-Ante Lazio to conclude the sporting season. This discipline, represented regionally by instructors and riders Marcello Rocchi and Danila Pietrini, tests the horse and rider’s speed, coordination, and precision through a timed obstacle course simulating rural work challenges. Performance is judged by completion time plus penalties for errors, emphasizing not only speed but also balance, consistency, and teamwork.

The event welcomes all Fitetrec-Ante registered riders, regardless of their prior competition experience, offering both newcomers and seasoned participants a chance to engage in practical horsemanship and prepare for the upcoming season. Throughout the year, the Lazio Regional Championship includes four stages, the Italian Championship, and the Regions Trophy, culminating in this special pre-Christmas event that celebrates the working horse tradition and skill.
