Ellie Shine, riding her blue roan gelding Dominic, represented Team England and the South West at the Under 25s British dressage Youth Home Nations Championships in Leicestershire. Over two days of competition, Ellie delivered strong performances, scoring 68.889% on day one and improving to 70.067% on day two, ultimately finishing third overall out of 39 competitors and earning the title of highest-placed Pony Club member in her group.

Ellie’s success was attributed to her focus and calm demeanor, Dominic’s elegance, and the expert warm-up by coach Tina Burrows. Representing the Royal Artillery branch in Area 14, Ellie and Dominic have emerged as rising stars in UK dressage, with their performances showcasing teamwork, consistency, and poise under pressure. Supporters praised their second-day test as the best they had seen Ellie ride, marking a memorable and promising weekend for the pair.
