The expansion aims to modernize stabling and increase capacity, contributing to the local horseracing industry and economy.

The planning application has been called in for review by West Berkshire Council due to concerns about drainage and noise. However, Jockey Club Estates supports the development, highlighting local policies favoring equestrian facility growth to strengthen the rural economy. They emphasize that the expansion will help retain a leading trainer in the village, boost employment, and enhance economic activity in Lambourn, a key hub for flat and National Hunt racing.
