Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson Sells Georgia Equestrian Estate at $3.3 Million Loss

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has taken a $3.3 million loss on the sale of his 46-acre equestrian estate in Powder Springs, Georgia, known as the Bullard Estate. He originally purchased the property for $9.49 million in 2019, listing it for $7.5 million in early 2021 but withdrew it after no offers. The estate, featuring a 15,000-square-foot main residence with eight bedrooms, a 12-stall barn, professional riding arena, resort-style pool, and extensive grounds, finally sold for $6.1 million in September 2023. The property offered privacy and luxury, serving as a retreat from Hollywood, though Johnson’s primary residence remains his Beverly Hills mansion.

The estate’s amenities catered to Johnson’s family interests, including his daughter Jasmine’s passion for horseback riding. Despite owning the property for six years, it’s unclear how often Johnson used it, as he has filmed many movies in the Atlanta area. The Bullard Estate’s location near Buckhead and Atlanta airport made it a distinguished and secluded sanctuary, blending luxury with world-class equestrian facilities. Meanwhile, Johnson continues to reside primarily in his $27.8 million Beverly Hills home purchased in 2021.
