Dubai Police’s therapeutic horse riding programme, managed by the Mounted Police Station, has benefited 765 individuals, including children of determination, by providing equine therapy that aids physical rehabilitation and psychological well-being. The initiative, supported by specially trained horses and qualified staff, has achieved a 100% satisfaction rate from parents and guardians, highlighting its effectiveness in improving certain physical and intellectual disabilities.
The Mounted Police Station also plays a broader community role through mounted patrols that enhance public safety, monitor traffic, and secure events. The station boasts high job satisfaction and training rates, physical readiness, and has earned the Gold “Wosool” accessibility certification, ensuring full accommodation for people of determination. These achievements were highlighted during an inspection by Lieutenant General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police.
