The dressage Masters is returning to Hickstead in May 2026, offering British dressage riders from prelim level up to compete alongside top international names in a unique, inclusive competition. Open to all British dressage members without qualification, the event features classes from prelim to Prix St Georges, with the top 15 in each class qualifying for a freestyle in the international arena. The competition emphasizes talent and partnership, with generous prizes including a new “champion of champions” title for the highest combined score over two days.
Entries are limited to 40 per class on a first-come, first-served basis, with tests covering championship levels from prelim to PSG. The event is supported by numerous sponsors, many new to equestrian sponsorship, and includes additional attractions such as overnight stabling and a charity ball. This return to Hickstead provides a valuable platform for riders progressing to international competition, especially following the loss of other major venues like Royal Windsor.
