Douglas County Hosts Free Horse Care and Sports Medicine Seminar for Youth

Douglas County 4-H and the Douglas County Farmer’s Co-Op are collaborating to host a free Horse Care & Sports Medicine Seminar this spring aimed at youth and families involved in horse projects. The event, titled “Strengthen Your Horsemanship Skills,” will cover essential topics in equine health, management, and sports medicine to help both new and experienced horse project members maintain healthy and sound horses.

The seminar will take place on Monday, March 2nd at 6:00 p.m. at the Douglas County Extension Office on Southeast Douglas Avenue. While the event is free, registration is required. For more details, interested participants can contact the OSU Extension Service at 672-4461.
