Doc Sullivan and Bank Frenzy Renew Rivalry in $125,000 Alex M. Robb at Aqueduct

The $125,000 Alex M. Robb Stakes at Aqueduct Racetrack on December 26 will feature a highly anticipated rematch between New York-breds Doc Sullivan and Bank Frenzy, who are tied 2-2 in their rivalry. Doc Sullivan, trained by John Ortiz, enters off a dominant 5 1/2-length win in the NYSSS Thunder Rumble and has shown versatility and improved attitude under Ortiz’s care. Bank Frenzy, now trained by Miguel Clement, aims to defend his title in this one-turn mile race after narrowly defeating Doc Sullivan last year and adding multiple stakes wins since.

Also in the field is The Wine Steward, a Grade 1-placed 4-year-old returning to state-bred company after a recent off performance, along with other notable contenders like General Banker, Locke and Key, Share the Ludt, and Quick to Accuse. The race, set as the ninth on a 10-race card, highlights the competitive New York-bred division and will be broadcast live on FOX Sports networks, with wagering available through NYRA Bets.
