The Delaware Renaissance Faire (Delafaire) returns for its fourth season in 2025, spanning three weekends from October 25 to November 9 at Fire Base Lloyd in Townsend, Delaware. This year’s event promises new attractions including the Daly Riders’ Master of the Horse Competition featuring horseback skills and archery, and thrilling medieval knight battles by Armored Combat Worldwide. The Faire will also feature increased roaming characters, scavenger hunts, tabletop games, and skill challenges like archery and axe throwing, ensuring fun for all ages. Each weekend will have a unique theme: Halloweekend with spooky festivities and a Jack O’ Lantern contest, Fantasy Weekend with mythical performances, and the new Time Travellers Weekend celebrating diverse historical and imaginative eras.
In addition to entertainment, Delafaire offers a large marketplace with over 90 artisans selling handmade crafts and a variety of food options, including vegetarian and BBQ dishes. Proceeds from the pub support a local nonprofit aiding single fathers. Tickets range from $10 to $25, with discounts for veterans, military personnel, and seniors, and free entry for children under four. With its expanding attractions, themed weekends, and family-friendly atmosphere, Delafaire 2025 aims to be a beloved autumn tradition and a must-attend event for Renaissance and fantasy enthusiasts of all ages.
