Darragh Kenny & Eddy Blue Triumph in Longines FEI Jumping World Cup at 2024 London International Horse Show

Darragh Kenny won the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup of London riding Eddy Blue, defeating Ben Maher, the reigning champion. The event took place at the ExCeL arena, offering more space for the competition. The course, designed by Bernardo Costa Cabral, was technical and fair, resulting in only five faultless rounds in the first round.

Kenny and Eddy Blue produced a clear round in the jump-off, setting the standard for their rivals to chase. Maher and Point Break also had a clear round but finished in second place. Kenny expressed his excitement at winning the event, calling it a childhood dream come true. The next leg of the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup Western European League will take place in Mechelen on December 30th.

After eight legs of the league, Kevin Staut and Robert Whitaker are tied for first place in the standings. The competition remains fierce as riders continue to accumulate points towards the final standings. The event in London showcased top talent and sportsmanship among the riders.
