Danielle Heath and Mr Vincent won the 2025 Royal International cob championship, also securing the Surrey Envelopes British Show Horse Association supreme cob title at the Agria-sponsored event. Mr Vincent’s owner, Isabella Mears Wood, was caught off guard by the victory, having found the 10-year-old cob through a Facebook appeal and initially planning to enjoy him as a hack. Danielle quickly recognized his potential, describing him as a natural showman who thrives in larger rings.
Reserve champion honors went to Kirstine Douglas, who rode Morean Hamilton’s 14-year-old lightweight cob Mr Bear, expressing heartfelt joy at the unexpected success. Other notable performances included Jayne Ross on Hortons Rainman and Rachel Mccourt’s versatile Firespell, who impressed in the working show horse category with rider Oliver Hood. The event highlighted a range of talented horses and riders, celebrating their achievements at one of the season’s premier shows.
