Cy Fair Headlines Upgraded Limestone Stakes with $350,000 Purse at Keeneland

The Limestone Stakes (G3T), upgraded to a graded contest for the first time in 2026 with a $350,000 purse, will feature a strong field including Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint winner Cy Fair. Trained by George Weaver and ridden by Irad Ortiz Jr., Cy Fair is the 9-5 morning-line favorite for the 5 1/2-furlong turf sprint at Keeneland on April 10. After a winter break, the Not This Time filly has been training well and aims to build on her impressive juvenile season, with potential plans to race internationally later in the year.

Other notable contenders include Lennilu, who finished third at Royal Ascot last year and recently won her fourth career stakes at Gulfstream Park, and Snow Face Princess, the only horse to have defeated Cy Fair, now under trainer Steve Asmussen after a $775,000 purchase. Snow Face Princess returns from a seven-month layoff, while Quiet Street, also returning from a layoff, is another strong competitor. The race promises an exciting start to the turf sprint season for 3-year-old fillies.
