Crimson Desert, Pearl Abyss’s single-player game, continues to impress with over three million copies sold and a peak in concurrent players, alongside very positive Steam reviews. Recently, two updates—patch 1.01 and hotfix 1.01.01—were released across PC (Steam), Xbox Series, and PS5, introducing significant quality-of-life improvements, five new mounts, bug fixes, and gameplay enhancements. Key additions include new mounts like the Frosted White Bear, a refining coin for equipment upgrades, improved pet behavior, expanded inventory and crafting functions, and smoother mission transitions. Combat and control mechanics were refined, such as improved movement speed, stamina adjustments, and skill tweaks, enhancing overall player experience.
The updates also brought interface improvements like better mini-map icons, notification management, and clearer skill information, alongside graphical enhancements including a new 4K lock option for PS5 and improved rendering quality. Performance and stability were optimized with reduced loading times and fixed crashes. Hotfix 1.01.01 addressed specific bugs related to mounts, item refining, and quest mechanics, ensuring smoother gameplay.
