Kids aged 9 to 14 in Crenshaw County who love horses but don’t own one are invited to a horse camp hosted by the Crenshaw County Trailblazers, Alabama 4-H, and the Crenshaw County Extension Office. The camp, held on Saturday, Dec. 13 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Tom Harbin Ag Center, will teach participants the basics of horse care, riding, and safety in a supportive environment.
The camp serves as a fundraiser for the Crenshaw County Trailblazers and features older horse club members leading many sessions, giving campers hands-on experience similar to 4-H horse shows. The cost is $50 per child with a sibling discount available, and lunch will be provided.
