The Cornell Cooperative Extension of Rensselaer County 4-H program announced its year-end 2025 equine awards, recognizing outstanding members and volunteers for their achievements and involvement. High Point Riders included champions across novice, junior, and senior divisions, with Korabeth Thompson, Ariana Severance, and Lili Ruepp among the top honorees. The program also awarded Horse Shoe Awards in Bronze, Silver, and Gold categories to members demonstrating dedication throughout the year, and Exceptional Horse Project Record Awards to numerous participants for their detailed project work.
Additionally, the Herdsmanship awards at the Schaghticoke Fair recognized several clubs for their excellence, with the Playful Ponies Club earning the top blue ribbon. The 4-H Youth Development programs emphasize life skills and personal growth through equine projects and other activities, preparing youth for future challenges.
