Community to Honor Beloved Teen Sally Allen with Charity Horse Ride

The article honors Sally Allen, a beloved teenager from Cresswell Quay who tragically died in a car crash on the A40 in July. Known for her infectious smile, caring nature, and love of horse-riding, Sally was also an active member of the Young Farmers Club (YFC). Her family fondly remembered her as joyful, supportive, and unintentionally hilarious, qualities that made her light up any room she entered.

To celebrate Sally’s life, a commemorative horse ride is scheduled for Sunday, September 14, starting at Cresselly House and finishing at Cresswell Quay. Participants are encouraged to wear yellow and sunflowers and make donations to the Sandy Bear Children’s Bereavement Charity, one of the charities chosen at Sally’s celebration of life. The event will feature refreshments, live music, and family-friendly activities, with pre-booked riders receiving a bacon roll before the ride.
