Ms. Brown, who has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, initiated the network as she has seen premiums climb and understands the pressures insurers face. The meeting emphasized the emotional and financial impact of not having insurance, which can lead to difficult decisions for animal owners. The aim is to create a steering group to unite insurers, vets, and service providers to work towards innovative solutions that benefit all parties involved.

Participants at the meeting, including Agria risk and compliance director Claudia Rodríguez and British Equine Veterinary Association chief executive David Mountford, expressed the importance of keeping the consumer’s needs at the center of decision-making.
