The annual combined Cloverleaf Standardbred Owners Association and Maryland Standardbred Breeders Association 2025 Horse of the Year Awards Banquet was held at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club in Stevensville, Maryland, honoring outstanding horses and individuals in the Standardbred racing community. Notable equine awardees included Caviart Trenton, Miss Val’s Way, Y’all Got No Shot, and And Just Like That, with Richard Hans notably winning multiple honors as owner, breeder, and trainer. Additional recognitions were given to various age and category champions, special legacy awards, and contributions from fairs and individuals such as Kenneth Weckstein and Joe & Joann Thomson of Winbak Farm.

The Maryland Standardbred Breeders Association also acknowledged numerous horses and stallions for their achievements, while honoring key contributors like Cheri Stambaugh and Pete Szymanski with appreciation awards.
