The recent Cloud County Fairgrounds event showcased nearly 800 entries from local 4-H, FFA, and open class students, featuring a wide range of livestock and creative projects. Judges selected five standout projects to advance to the Kansas State Fair, including works in fine visual arts, three-dimensional arts, leather and jewelry arts, and general crafts. Participants represented various 4-H clubs such as Hollis Hustlers, Clyde Roadrunners, and Hopewell Corners.
In addition to individual achievements, several 4-H clubs competed in all-club divisions, with the Clyde Roadrunners earning Grand Champion honors for their treasurer’s and historian’s books, and Miltonvale Hustlers securing Reserve Champion in multiple categories. The fair also highlighted numerous grand champions across diverse categories, from welding and livestock to decorated baked goods, fashion revue, photography, and shooting sports, reflecting the broad talents and dedication of the youth involved.
