The Veterans Day parade in downtown Clifton featured a variety of participants including the Sons of the American Legion Color Guard from Clifton and Linn, members of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, the Lucky 4 4H club, and Brantford Covenant Church, all contributing floats and displays honoring veterans. Patriotic decorations, such as banners and a float featuring the Statue of Liberty, added to the festive atmosphere, while horse riders carrying flags brought up the rear of the procession.
The event drew a sizable crowd, including local grade school children, who enjoyed the beautiful weather along the parade route. Additionally, there is growing anticipation for next year’s significant celebration marking the 250th anniversary of American independence, which is already beginning to capture community attention.
