The Clay County 4-H Horse & Pony Club recently held a luncheon and tack auction at the Clay County Fairgrounds, featuring over 200 items up for auction. Guests enjoyed lunch, shopping, and bidding on various items in the silent auction. The funds raised from the event will support the club for the 2025 4-H season.
Club President Trinity Nuckols emphasized the sense of community within the club, describing it as a big family where members work together and form friendships. The club is focused on collaboration rather than competition, fostering a supportive and welcoming environment for all involved.
Looking ahead, the Clay County 4-H Horse & Pony Club will host an open show on June 21st and June 22nd at the Clay County Fairgrounds. This event will provide an opportunity for members to showcase their skills and horses, further strengthening the bonds within the club.
