A Class III student named Yuwaraj Rabha from Borbakra village near the Assam-Meghalaya border has gained widespread admiration after videos of him riding a horse to school went viral on social media. Attending Dakshin Pantan Janajatia Middle English School, Yuwaraj’s horseback commute, born out of necessity due to poor road infrastructure and hilly terrain, has inspired many and attracted visitors eager to witness his daily journey. His teachers and classmates praise his determination and courage, highlighting the challenges faced by students in remote areas.

Despite being part of the Rabha Hasong Autonomous Council region, the village continues to suffer from dilapidated roads, with villagers’ repeated requests for improvements largely ignored.
