Class Act Farm Builds Team Spirit and Success Through USEA Interscholastic Eventing League

Class Act Farm in Apopka, Florida, has embraced the USEA Interscholastic Eventing League (IEL) to foster a team-oriented, supportive environment for young eventing riders ranging from Starter to FEI levels. Spearheaded by trainer Jennie Jarnstrom-Dennis and parent Courtney Borton, the club emphasizes camaraderie, horsemanship, and mutual support among riders, helping them experience eventing as a team sport rather than an individual pursuit. With 10 active riders, the club has already achieved competitive success, including wins at the USEA Area III Championships, and looks forward to competing at the 2026 IEL Championship in South Carolina.

The IEL program, established by the USEA in 2020, aims to unite junior riders in grades 5-12 by creating clubs based on shared connections like barns or schools, providing a community that encourages continued riding development. Class Act Farm’s club exemplifies this mission by offering opportunities for riders of all ages and backgrounds, including those who live far from formal training programs, to connect, compete, and grow together. The program’s focus on teamwork and positive support helps riders like Addison Borton and Kennedy Langmo thrive both individually and as part of a collective, enriching their eventing experience.
