Clara Propp and Mistral van de Vogelzang Win 2025 Junior Jumper National Championships

At the 2025 Turnham Green/USEF Junior Jumper National Championships held in Harrisburg, Pa., Clara Propp of New York, riding Mistral van de Vogelzang, secured the individual gold medal after three days of competition. Propp and her 2012 Belgian Warmblood gelding delivered a fault-free final round to finish with a cumulative score of 4.8, overcoming earlier rounds where they placed just off the podium. This victory marks a significant milestone in Propp’s career, highlighting her growth and perseverance in the U.S. Jumping Pathway.

Avery Griffin of Austin, Texas, riding Oh My Star Van Strytem, earned the silver medal with a final score of 4.87 despite a single rail in the last phase, while JJ Torano from Wellington, Florida, took bronze aboard Lyon 50, contributing to Zone 4’s team gold in the Prix des States Team Championship. Torano also received the William C. Steinkraus Style Award for exemplary technique and sportsmanship. The event showcased top junior jumper talent and offered valuable experiences for the athletes as they advance in their equestrian careers.
