The Children’s Equine Education Day held on January 25, 2026, at Prado Park Equestrian Center in Chino offered children aged 12 and under, along with their parents, a hands-on opportunity to learn about horses. Participants engaged in activities such as feeding carrots to horses, grooming, walking the horses, and painting horseshoes to take home. The event aimed to teach kids about horse care, including how much horses eat and how to interact safely with them.

The Prado Park Equestrian Center, part of the San Bernardino County parks system, will host six additional equine education days throughout the year on Sundays, with sessions lasting two hours and costing $35.
