The 13th edition of CHI Al Shaqab Presented by Longines is currently taking place in Doha, Qatar, from February 18 to 21. This prestigious event is unique in the Middle East and Asia, combining show jumping, dressage, and para dressage under the Concours Hippique International (CHI) format. It is part of the Doha Equestrian Tour (DET), a prominent international show jumping series launched in 2025, featuring ten competitions with a total prize pool of €10.747 million.
As the sixth event in the 2026 DET, CHI Al Shaqab attracts a strong international field, offering €1,373,000 in prize money. The competition includes over 300 riders from more than 40 countries, with 469 horses competing across multiple levels in show jumping, including CSIY-B, CSICh-B, CSI1, CSI3, and CSI5. The dressage segment features a CDI5, CDI1, and a CPEDI3 para dressage competition, showcasing top talent in the equestrian world.
