Chase County 4-H Fair Results Highlight Top Winners and Club Achievements

Chase County’s 4-H fair showcased outstanding achievements across a wide range of categories, with members from the Bazaar, Diamond, Gladstone, and Toledo 4-H Clubs earning numerous awards. Notable highlights include Dominic Barrett and Heath Giger excelling in Aerospace/Rocketry, Harrison and Hadden Giger dominating Ag Mechanics (Welding), and Clark Miller and Clara Patterson leading in Beef competitions. The Diamond 4-H Club particularly stood out, securing many grand champion titles in areas such as Robotics, Fiber Arts, Poultry, Rabbits, Sheep, and Woodworking. Individual members like Enley Lauer, Tate Gibb, Kinslea Glanville, and Hadden Giger also received multiple top honors, reflecting strong participation and skill across diverse projects including livestock, clothing, horticulture, shooting sports, and visual arts.

The open class competitions featured a variety of entries from community members, with winners recognized in categories such as Beef, Clothing & Textiles, Creative Crafts, Dairy Cattle, Farm & Garden Products, Floriculture, Foods & Food Preservation, Horses, Photography, Poultry, Rabbits, Sheep & Goats, Swine, and Tractor displays. Melinda Hinkson and Maelie Gibb were notable for having the most entries in their respective age groups and winning multiple awards. The event celebrated the dedication and talents of all participants, highlighting the vibrant community involvement and the broad scope of agricultural and creative skills fostered through the Chase County fair.
