British Olympian Charlotte Dujardin, who had secured an FEI Extra Starting Place with her 12-year-old Westfalian mare Alive And Kicking, has withdrawn from the 2026 FEI World Cup Final. Dujardin had competed successfully in two qualifiers, placing fifth and sixth in freestyle events at CDI-W London and Amsterdam respectively. The withdrawal, which the British Equestrian Federation supports and respects, is not related to any recent negative media or warm-up video controversies.
With Dujardin’s withdrawal, the second FEI Extra Starting Place initially allocated to her has been reallocated, leaving 17 combinations to compete at the event in Fort Worth, Texas from April 8-12, 2026. Among the confirmed competitors is Australia’s Serena Ireland with Royalty R. The full list of definite entries is available through the FEI.
