The University of Kentucky’s Equine Initiative, now UK Ag Equine Programs, was formed in 2005 to serve horses and the horse industry through collaboration between the university and various equine organizations. In 2025, UK Ag Equine Programs is celebrating 20 years of equine excellence with alumni events, a service drive called Mane Mission, and philanthropic opportunities.
