Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour and Mount St John Freestyle Achieve New Grand Prix Personal Best at Herning CDI5*

Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour and her 17-year-old horse Mount St John Freestyle have kicked off their 2026 dressage season impressively, achieving a new grand prix personal best with a winning score of 84.17% at the Herning CDI5*. Their performance included perfect 10s from judges for key movements, a first for some transitions, highlighting the exceptional quality of their ride. The following day, they continued their success by winning the grand prix freestyle with an outstanding 90.47%.

Since forming their partnership in 2023, Cathrine and Freestyle have consistently impressed on the international stage, including winning team and individual silver at the 2024 Paris Olympics and double individual silver at the European Championships. Freestyle also has a notable history, having previously won individual bronze and contributed to a British team bronze at the 2018 World Equestrian Games with Charlotte Dujardin. The pair are now setting their sights on the upcoming World Championships in Aachen.
