The Casartelli family’s Medrano Circus is set to perform in Florence from December 25th to January 6th, showcasing two hours of internationally acclaimed circus acts accompanied by a live orchestra. The show features thrilling performances such as the Globe of Death with Brazilian motorcyclists, freestyle BMX acrobats, trapeze artists, skaters, and contemporary Ukrainian artists, all presented with modern direction and a fast pace. Notably, the circus has chosen to exclude animals entirely, including horses, reflecting a gradual shift based on audience feedback.

As the only Italian circus to have won two Golden Clowns at the Monte Carlo Circus Festival, Circo Medrano is also engaging with the local community by donating 800 tickets to Florence’s senior citizens. The initiative was praised by the Florentine Welfare Councillor Nicola Paulesu as a meaningful gesture of support for the city’s most vulnerable residents.
