Tatyana Remley, a California equestrian known for her failed horse and acrobatics show, died by suicide outside a San Diego bar shortly after her release from prison. She had been sentenced to nearly four years for attempting to hire a hitman to kill her estranged husband, Mark Remley, amid a tumultuous decade marked by financial ruin, domestic violence allegations, and legal battles. After her release in January, she was arrested again in September on arson charges for allegedly setting fire to their Del Mar mansion following the discovery of her murder-for-hire plot.
The couple’s troubled history included a high-profile but short-lived show in 2012, multiple divorce filings, and escalating conflicts culminating in Tatyana’s arrest for illegal firearms possession and solicitation of murder. Mark reported that Tatyana set their home ablaze after he learned of her plan to have him killed, leading to her pending arson trial. Her death ended a dramatic and tragic chapter in their fraught relationship.
