Caldwell 4-H had a vibrant and successful summer filled with diverse activities and achievements. The club hosted nine Exploring Day Camps covering topics like robotics, gardening, and careers, and sent members to Millstone 4-H Camp, Electric Congress in Wilmington, and the NC State Presentation Competitions. Notable accomplishments included Henry Wilkie’s 2nd place in the State Presentation Competition, Eli Dillon’s selection for National 4-H Congress, and strong performances in horse shows and shooting sports. Additionally, Zoey Abrams participated in an international 4-H exchange in South Korea, enriching her cultural and culinary knowledge.
Looking ahead, Caldwell 4-H invites the community to upcoming fall events such as the Agricultural Fair, 4-H Fall Fest, and Ag and Trade Expo. The organization continues to grow, supported by dedicated leaders and families, and offers numerous opportunities for youth development through its partnership with NC State University and local Cooperative Extension resources. For more information, interested families can contact 4-H Agent Gabby Whorley or visit the Caldwell County 4-H website.
