Caitlyn Stave, known for her role in the GMA Prime series “Mga Batang Riles” and “My Guardian Alien,” is emerging as a promising equestrian athlete. Recently, she competed in the Manila Polo Club Annual Horse Show, where she impressively placed third on the first day and won first place on the second day in the .55cm jumping class. This achievement is particularly remarkable given that she had suffered an injury the previous year that sidelined her from riding for five months. With the support of her coach Andrea Montelibano Cruz and her horse Bella, Caitlyn made a strong comeback within seven months.
Caitlyn’s equestrian journey is also influenced by her relationship with Rafael Jaworski, son of celebrated equestrian Mikee Cojuangco-Jaworski, who has personally helped teach her riding techniques. Mikee Cojuangco-Jaworski is a gold medalist in individual show jumping from the 2002 Asian Games, adding a prestigious connection to Caitlyn’s growing career in the sport. Caitlyn expressed deep gratitude to both her mentor and her horse for their roles in her success.
