Bubby Upton Falls at Blenheim European Championships as British Riders Face Tough Cross-Country Day

At the Agria Blenheim European Championships cross-country event, British rider Bubby Upton experienced a fall at the Agria Water Crossing, marking the fourth British elimination due to falls on the challenging course. Other British riders Yasmin Ingham, Piggy March, and Caroline Harris also fell, contributing to a difficult day for the British team. In total, seven pairs were eliminated, including riders from Ireland, Italy, and Belgium.

Despite the setbacks, Germany’s Calvin Böckmann posted the fastest round so far on The Phantom Of The Opera, incurring 5.6 time faults, while Britain’s Tom McEwen was the second fastest with 6.8 time penalties, currently holding the best score among those who have finished. The competition remains intense with several riders still to complete their rounds.
