Brown University’s equestrian team competed at the University of Rhode Island show, finishing fourth overall. Freshman Micaela Winthrop tied for Overall High Point Rider and won the tiebreaker after a Horsemanship quiz, with notable placements including first in Limit Flats Section B and third in Intermediate Fences Section A. Other strong performances included freshman Isabella Cope placing third in Intermediate Fences Section B, sophomores Lana Khalidi and Adelynne Crisfield both winning their respective Limit Fences sections, and Emmanuelle Bal and Ashley Luo placing first and second in Introductory Flat and Pre Novice Flat, respectively. This event marked the team’s final show of the fall season as they prepare for spring competition.
