West Coast riders interested in arena eventing have an exciting opportunity to participate in Brookside’s Equestrian Park First arena Eventing on March 28-29 in Elk Grove, CA. This event combines the precision of show jumping with the excitement of cross-country in an arena setting, featuring levels from ground poles to Modified. Competitors can also opt for a Joker fence to reduce their time, and there will be schooling and a course walk with designer and judge Earl McFall on the preceding Friday.
In addition to this event, several notable competitions are happening internationally and across the U.S. this weekend, including the Randlab Matamata Horse Trials CCI4*-S in New Zealand and the $100,000 LiftMaster Grand Prix Eventing Showcase at Bruce’s Field in South Carolina, where Phillip Dutton and Denim recently claimed victory. Other events include the Rocking Horse Winter III HT in Florida, Twin Rivers Winter HT in California, and Sporting Days Farm March HT II in South Carolina, all offering opportunities for riders to compete and engage with the eventing community.
