Brittany’s Reign Nonprofit Uses Horses to Help Young People Heal and Build Confidence

Brittany’s Reign is a new nonprofit founded by Bronica Deale in memory of her daughter, Brittany Deale, who was lost to gun violence. The organization aims to help young people, especially from underserved communities, heal emotionally through the therapeutic power of horseback riding. By offering free riding opportunities and animal interactions, the nonprofit fosters emotional wellness, confidence, and personal growth, honoring Brittany’s passion and legacy.

The group is hosting its first community event, “Crown for Brittany — Legacy in Motion,” at Yellow River Park in Stone Mountain, Ga. This free family-friendly event features food, music, line dancing, and keepsake photos, all designed to celebrate Brittany’s spirit and provide children with transformative experiences that horses uniquely offer, helping them better understand and regulate their emotions.
