Britain enjoyed a highly successful weekend at various European youth equestrian championships, highlighted by Rachel Proudley and HK Horses’ Quality Street winning individual gold in the young rider showjumping event in Riesenbeck, while contributing to the British team’s bronze medal. Additionally, the British under-25 dressage team secured bronze in Kronberg, Germany, finishing behind Germany and the Netherlands, and the British three-star eventing team triumphed with gold in Minderhout, Belgium, also earning individual silver and bronze medals.
The eventing team, comprising Jasmine Holmes, Katie Wrennall, Ben Perry, and Holly Needham, marked Britain’s first team gold on mainland Europe in the European 3* Cup, with Holmes and Wrennall taking individual silver and bronze respectively.
